“I Can Fly” is a large — 30-inches high x 32-inches long x 24-inches wide –stoneware sculpture created in 2009.  The sculpture represents my idea of children wishing to soar in body and spirit.  The sculpture was featured in the September 2009 art exhibit of the Queen of Apostles Community in Gallery St. John, Dayton where you see it in this image.  It was created as a project for my advanced sculpture studies at Sinclair Community College and fired in the kilns there.
